This University Student Assistance Center uses Veribook to schedule student appointments.
Students access a customized and branded booking page created by Veribook from the University’s own website. This website lists special instructions, and gives students the opportunity to book an appointment.
Students first select from the various types of appointments, then a particular advisor appropriate for the selected appointment type (or any advisor, if they have no preference).
Scheduling an appointment takes just a few seconds, and students do not need to sign-up for an account. A message can be included to the advisor, if desired.
The student is also provided an immediate confirmation of their appointment on their device, and an email confirmation is sent to the student with further information. A reminder is also sent automatically a day before the student’s appointment, to further reduce no-shows.
Students can cancel or reschedule appointments online as well, in accordance with the deadlines set in place by the center. Cancelled appointment timeslots are immediately made available to other students.
